The Alberta Aerospace and Technology Centre (AATC) is a consortium of companies active in the aerospace sector in (but not limited to) Alberta. Originally focused on commercial pilot training using advanced high-tech flight simulators, the scope of this group quickly expanded to include associated technologies with various applications across multiple sectors. Kalder works closely with this group of companies as its international business development arm, working to connect the members’ technologies and capabilities to global opportunities.

Absolute Combustion is an Alberta-based company that has created a revolutionary burner technology that drastically reduces operational and maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and improves workplace safety with applications across a wide range of industries. AERIUM Analytics is an ‘Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)-As-A-Service’ provider with a strong focus on data. AERIUM’s main value-proposition is its unique ability to build an integrated service model, offering UAV flight services, data processing, and enhanced data visualization. Of particular interest is its one-of-a-kind Robird® technology that effectively draws birds away from sensitive areas, such as airports, tailings ponds for mining and oil waste, wind power turbines, landfills, and high-value agricultural crops. Established in 1982, the Lorrnel Group is dedicated to delivering integrated resource management to the oil and gas, forestry, construction, and mining industries. They are well equipped to facilitate all areas of project management, including field supervision, regulatory approvals, and project mapping. Its in-house staff include a variety of professionals, graduates and technical experts in geophysical project management, construction field supervision, land management, geographic information systems, forestry, environmental and natural resource science, and reclamation/remediation. Kalder works with Lorrnel to bridge this expertise to opportunities, primarily in developing countries via projects backed by International Financial Institutions, such as the World Bank and United Nations Development Program.

Switch Engineering brings over 25 years of expertise in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, and Land Development with extensive knowledge in Mechanical and Civil design, Utility Systems, Energy Modelling, Sustainable Construction, and Building Information Modelling and are experts various management practices including Agile and Lean Methodologies. In particular, Kalder works with Switch Engineering to bring energy efficiency auditing expertise to major international infrastructure development projects

Dalekovod is Kalder’s Europe-based partner of choice for projects covering electrical transmission lines and sub-stations up to 500kV. With over 65 years of direct experience in 80+ countries, including a number of Former Soviet Union members, Dalekovod is working with Kalder to expand its project portfolio in Central Asia through a number of joint-venture tenders.
